The Relaunch Session #3: Events and Volunteer Engagement Through an Equity Lens
Time & Location
About the Event
While we can't build an antiracist philanthropy program overnight, we can continue our efforts to come closer. Join us for session #3 of our powerful series. We will question our practices around events and volunteer engagement through an equity lens. Among the questions that we will ask, "Should everyone be invited to everything, or nothing at all?" and "Are some of the ways that we ask people to volunteer unintentionally creating power imbalances that are not antiracist?" We'll be in conversation with Alison Park, Founder, Blink Conuslting. Alison is a nationally recognized DEI leader who has worked with hundreds of indpendent schools throughout the U.S.A.
Join us on Wednesday, August 12th from 10:00 am-11:30 am Pacific Time. A Zoom link will be provided to you prior to the event after registering.
Please consider enrolling for Session #2 with Wanda Holland Greene, Head of School of the Hamlin School and Session #4 with Mitch Bostian, Head of School of The Berkeley School.
